Jurgen Klopp tells Liverpool front three they're no longer first-team shoo-ins
Jurgen Klopp claims his famous front line has no divine right to selection and that if their poor form continues, he may be forced to "intervene."
The Liverpool manager is aware that his team has not been scoring enough goals in recent months, admitting, "If we used a lot of the changes, we wouldn't stand here and talk about these things."
Klopp has also admitted that his team needs "ten chances to score a goal" - and he has challenged the rest of his squad to prove to him that they deserve to replace his front three in the Reds' remaining seven games as they aim for a top-four finish.
When asked if he should change his forward line or wait for it to correct itself, he replied, "Probably both." I believe we can all agree that with the quality the boys have, they will score goals, but in this period where they aren't scoring, you have to consider whether you should intervene or just let it go.
